Meet the staff Monday! Meet Bethany. She is a newer RVT to the pet team and will have been here a year on June 1st. She has a collection of pets which you can see on our pet posts from last week. ... She is originally from England and loves to travel and definitely wanting this pandemic to be over all so she can start exploring the world again. If you see her this week be sure to say hi!

Feel Good Friday! Some people are a little more obsessed with puppies than others. We can definitely say that we are absessed with all puppies!

Today starts the beginning of RVT month! What is an RVT? -An RVT stands for Registered Veterinary Technician -An RVT is essentially a nurse for animals.... Stay tuned to see all the unique jobs a RVT does.

Corgi The affectionate corgi is one of the most agreeable and charming of small house pets. Intelligent and affectionate in nature, the corgi is alert and vigilant but kind.

Australian Shepherd! Contrary to its name, the Australian Shepherd had its beginnings in Spain and Andorra, where it worked with the Basque shepherds. When the Basques followed the sheep-herding movement to Australia, the faithful dogs went along. Eager to please, loyal and responsive, the Aussie may be reserved toward strangers. Though a deliberate guardian, he is never hostile. Alert and quick to learn, he is easily trained.

Rottweiler! The Rottie is a fearless dog that maintains an air of self-assurance. He is basically calm and confident. He possesses an inherent desire to protect home and family.

German Shepherd! This breed is highly valued as a police dog, tracker, drug dog, search and rescue, and guide dog. The German Shepherd is stable, sensible, intelligent, quick to learn, loyal and protective. Though relatively calm and quiet indoors, this breed needs lots of outdoor exercise to maintain condition.

German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) Friendly, intelligent and eager to please, the GSP is a dog of stable temperament and keen enthusiasm. The breed adapts well to family life in a suburban or country setting but needs lot of exercise to use up some of his abundant energy.

Even though it's been a short week it feels like we had to wait forever for the weekend to come again. Just like the week, you have to wait until the end for this video! ;)

Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Once called the Little River Duck Dog, the Toller was developed in Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. Highly intelligent and easy to train, the Toller has already made a name for itself in obedience competition. His playfulness, a part of Tolling, also makes him an entertaining companion. A dog of great endurance, the Toller is also a strong swimmer and a natural retriever, both on land and water. The breed likes to work and should have lots of outdoor exercise.
