NOTICE FROM CCC To ensure the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, staff and wonderful sponsors, we are pleased to announce that all of Push For Your Tush 5k / 10k run/walks across Canada have gone virtual. As a participant in the PFYT virtual run/walk, you will receive our exclusive PFYT runner's gift pack, have access to custom workout videos and a health-focused newsletter with expert exercise tips, healthy FOODS THAT FIGHT CANCER recipes, and tricks to get ...your TUSH in gear. On your virtual run or walk, you can track your time and distance for either the 5k or 10k course wherever you are in Canada in a safe environment. Going virtual means you can walk/run wherever and however you choose! Whether that means checking out a new trail in your area, hopping on a treadmill/stationary bicycle within your home, or hitting the pavement to explore your local community! All forms of participation are welcome! Start tracking your distance today either with our recommended app, STRAVA or whichever tracking device you feel most comfortable with. Share your stats with us on social media to help you stay in shape, improve your morale, and stay connected with your community. Prizes for the most amount raised in your City and Province will be awarded and sent to you following the Nationwide PFYT Run Day on June 28th, 2020, so whether or not you have already signed up for PFYT, join the virtual PFYT with friends and family today! PFYT is the key fundraiser for Colorectal Cancer Canada’s (CCC) patient programs for colorectal cancer awareness and education, patient and caregiver support and advocacy on their behalf. We are counting on your participation and support through these challenging times so that CCC can continue to be there for you. CCC remains in full operation, although our staff is working remotely as we fulfill our mission to you, the public at large, and to all our patients and their families, without interruption.
