McDonald's Canada has served our haunteers many, MANY meals over this season. They not only feed us, but they support our business and our cause. Each year the owner brings along his staff for a team building experience inside our haunted walls. We are trying our best to manage the lineups during a pandemic and appreciate your patience at this time. Approximate wait time for a Friday and Saturday night is 1.5 hours. Just to note we are open Sunday evenings 7-9pm and the last two Thursdays in this month. If you prefer not to stand in long lines, these days are for you! So far we have had rave reviews on our haunt. It makes us all warm and tingly to get this kind of numbers in the first 2 nights. The picture attached is something that happens when someone pees their pants and falls at the same time. It’s lovingly referred to as ‘sponging’ by our haunteers. Our haunted house is opening in 2 more nights. Hard to believe!!! What an incredible journey to get us to this point. 2020 has had it’s ups and downs as you all know, and our event was riddled with its unique challenges. We’ve struggled with electrical issues, disgruntled tenants, the joy of bylaws, code infractions, inspections, lots of red tape, a mountain of forms, and lack of public washrooms just to mention a few. But it’s more than apparently clear to us that our haunte...d house would not have happened without the help and professionalism of Safeguard Property Management. Over the past 3 months this business has been more than accommodating; they gone over and above to find solutions, and was even a punching bag on a few occasions (sorry Paul). Whenever anything got exceptionally difficult, they tackled the obstacles in a stride and found a way to make everything work (safely, legally and with a strong community of support). We cannot thank them enough for being so amazing. We could not have accomplished this masterpiece of madness without them. This is not an exaggeration... they saved the day!!! The Phantom's FreakShow has moved to the Town of Kentville this year and they will be haunting the Main Street Station (formerly the historic Cornwallis Inn; the iconic Kentville Castle). You'll find us in the basement where tales of real ghosts stem back to the early 1900's when this location was an old railway hotel. The Phantom's FreakShow is built and run by Special Effects Makeup Artists so be prepared to be engolfed in the horror realm.
