Throughout the last 8 weeks of shutdown, we've been talking about old memories, listening to old hits and flipping through old photographs. These trips down memory lane remind us of how much we love what we do and why we've been doing this for so long. As the City of Toronto eases restrictions and begins to roll out their first phase of recovery, we are also preparing to open our doors. We are so excited to create new memories and music again. Today, we say farewell to another musical icon and one of the founding fathers of rock: Little Richard. Little Richard broke ground for many artists, performing hits like Long Tall Sally and Tutti Frutti while adding his own pizazz of style, craziness and charisma, on and off the stage. This flamboyant musician was one of the first artists who began to integrate funk into the classic rock and roll beat, which later influenced the development of soul music. Today, we say goodbye to the legendary country star, Kenny Rogers. Over the years, we enjoyed classics like, Lady, The Gambler, Islands in the Stream, and more.
