Some beautiful orange basso rabbit snails arrived today...

Algae and corals seem to preferentially grow on and around the intake slots of our Flex 32.5 US Gal. reef tank! Can you guess why? The answer is below! . . .... ANSWER: It's likely because higher-nutrient water, having circulated throughout the aquarium, moves through the intake slots to be cleaned by the filter. The algae and corals like these higher levels of nutrients, and as such grow on and around the intake slots!
