Smoky Quartz with Aegirine, Topaz Strong Intention For Purification We are very familiar with Smoky Quartz, having used it extensively as a powerful grounding agent in many of our designs. But the highly ‘gemmy’ quality of the stone used in this pendant is rare and beautiful. The fact that the Smoky Quartz is intermingled with tiny inclusions of black Aegirine makes it both unique and insanely valuable to anyone who wears and resonates with it. We’ve long championed Aegirine ...in our work. Its value as a means to cleanse the shadow aspect of yourself is immeasurable. To have a stone that combines and integrates the actions of these two gems makes it a valuable tool we can’t recommend highly enough. It is clear to us that working on the shadow aspects of ourselves requires commitment and unshakable intention. Often, when doing this work, it is our intention that can crumble and disrupt the process before it is completed. To help with this common problem, we’ve also used a small faceted Topaz in our design. Topaz is one of the most powerful stones known for assisting us in synchronizing our thoughts and actions with our intention. It is very difficult to accomplish the kind of cleansing that shadow work brings unless your thoughts, actions and energy are aligned with this desired outcome. Intention acts as a laser-like focus for your thoughts, actions and energy so they become a powerful force for cleansing and purification. When intention flags, as it observably does quite often, all we succeed in manifesting is our doubts and fears. Thomsonite, Scolecite Relieving ‘Brain Fog’ Thomsonite is a member of the Zeolite family of minerals that includes Prehnite, Stilbite, Apophyllite, Scolecite, and Natrolite. We’ve featured all of these Zeolite stones in our designs over the years. Thomsonite is among the rarest of the Zeolites. Francis first encountered Thomsonite at a gem show a decade or more ago in Atlanta, Ga. He’d bought a good number of other specimens from a dealer at the show. When he went to check ou...t, the dealer held up a small bin and told Francis to reach in and pick one of the stones in it as a gift. Francis pulled out a small round, porous-feeling stone that he’d never seen before. As soon as Francis touched it he felt a jolt of energy run through his entire body. It seemed to act very strongly in the brain, sharpening his thought processes in a noticeable way. He asked the dealer what the stone was. Probably something you’ve never seen before and may never see again, the dealer replied. He told Francis that the stone was Thomsonite, a Zeolite that forms in the water where lava flows into the sea. Francis still has that stone and he wears it often when his brain feels ‘foggy’ after hours of mental concentration. The stimulation that Thomsonite provides under those circumstances is undeniable and almost instantaneous. Over the years, Francis has found that using his Thomsonite with Scolecite brings a peacefulness to his mind when it is overworked or stressed. Needless to say, as the global pandemic has stretched on, Francis has often found himself in need of what this unique stone combination provides.
