Everyone is always wondering what’s better? Mat or reformer?? Answer- whichever suits you better, both have amazing benefits, incorporating both though is ideal! Especially during covid restrictions, so no slacking at home, keep your body and mind healthy and join us via zoom and stay strong until we can open again!! All you need is a mat, possibly some other household props everyone has at home, classes are suited to all levels with modifications for everyone! We are sti...ll correcting and watching you, with continuous cueing reminders! Hopefully only two more weeks until we can see all your smiling faces again stay safe and healthy everyone

Zoom is $12 plus GST and if you are already a member at our studio you can use your remaining credit so make sure you contact us if you have not already.

Effective Friday November 27th, Group classes will be cancelled as per Provincial Health Covid Regulations. We are still open for Private sessions, and will be hosting zoom classes starting next week, please contact the studio for more information. Please comment below for times of day for zoom classes! All memberships will be put on hold immediately, and we will go through and cancel all booked classes, so your punch passes will go back onto your account. If anything changes and we are allowed to open before 3 weeks, we will be sure to let you know!! Hopefully everyone stays safe, healthy and we will be able to spend Christmas with our families!!

GREAT NEWS!!! We want to offer a beginner registered class with the Lovely Arlene!!!! Classes will be Monday nights at 6:30 for 6 weeks starting Monday Nov 9th. We are now adding a 7:30 pm class as well. She will lead you through the basics of pilates and progress every week to make you a mat pilates master! Cost of the class is $120 plus GST. The class size is a perfect 4 so you get great individual attention with all COVID precautions in place. We are all human. And although we try to look great when posting pictures of Pilates moves I love this picture as it shows my real life. Trying to get Pilates pictures for posts, keep baby out of pictures and or black lab and unpictured as she was the only one listening is the 3 year old. Hubby's knees made the cut too!

We are soooooo happy to announce that everyone's favorite instructor is coming back to the studio!!!! Laura has decided to come back and teach Tuesday evening mat classes for right now but if you tell her how amazing she is maybe she will decide to come back more!!! We are so lucky to have her at all so please get excited and book in for her October 6th, Tuesday 6:45 PM Beginner Mat class.

Friday night date night with my oldest! Cleaning the studio and a quick leg workout to help improve his hockey stride I edited out my bossy mom voice telling him neutral spine, watch your knees , open up your chest, head up..... and a few other corrections. Lol this is something I do constantly with my boys is nag them about their posture (especially when on their phones) and using proper muscles, especially when it comes to hockey, the stronger, more stable their core and glutes are, the better chance I can get them using proper muscles /form , which will decrease their chance of injury, or the common groin injury in hockey!! And will also increase their speed and endurance on the ice #hockeypilates #pilatesforteens #momsonlove

Community Pilates in BEAVERLODGE is starting again at the Multipurpose Room in the Community Center. We have lots of room to socially distance and we will be going for the next 12 weeks. This is a FULLY FUNDED class, meaning FREE!!!! You must sign up before hand through our app or website schedule and select the Beaverlodge Community Class membership. Class is WEDNESDAYS 6:30 to 7:30 PM. You must bring your own mat and a towel. Send us a message if you have any questions and we hope we can maximize the use of this class that a Beaverlodge Doctor, Dr. VAN has funded to make the community a healthier place!

Managed to fit in a quick weekend workout! Strengthening my core is vital to helping my back pain . I’ve been in a few car accidents over the years and suffered from neck and back pain and let me tell you, Pilates is the only exercise that I can say has helped. I can honestly say if my neck is acting up or feeling a little sore , I can hit the reformer for a workout and it straightens me right out and I feel great after.
