The PillowFort Team is so excited to introduce you to the artist behind Disciples of Dorothy, Kristy Boyce! Boyce is an award winning photographer, director, and multimedia artist. Currently based in Toronto, Boyce accepts assignments internationally, and her work has been exhibited and published worldwide. Boyce began her career as a photojournalist and utilizes a wide range of media as storytelling tools. Preferring to work with whatever technology best serves the task at ...hand, she has a diverse range of interests from photojournalism to commercial work, the common thread throughout remains: producing dynamic visuals that serve to tell an impactful story. Be sure to follow her at Kristy Boyce Photographer, Visual Designer and visit her website kristyboycephotographer.com to explore the rest of her fantastic work. We'll see you all April 2nd!

The PillowFort Collective is pleased to announce Disciples of Dorothy - April 2, 2020. This exhibition of work by Kristy Boyce seeks to address the historic omission of LGBTQ2+ individuals from artistic and religious works. By blending aspects of religious iconography with modern drag characters, Boyce's work creates a new kind of sacred. Alongside the exhibition will be a drag show by some of Toronto's most talented performers, soon to be announced.... Stay tuned for more details! _ #torontocreates #torontoculture #torontoart #torontophotography #TOart #TOartists #torontodrag #dragsaints #dragphotography #torontodrag
