Due to an increase in clients showing up late for appointment we have made a change in policy, effective Dec 1, 2020. Unfortunately, when even one patient arrives late, it can throw off the entire schedule for that day. In addition, rushing or squeezing in an appointment short changes the patients and contributes to decreased quality of care. Therefore, a client that arrives 10 minutes or more late to their appointment (without any prior communication with the clinic) may be asked to reschedule if the veterinarian’s schedule cannot accommodate you. Priority will be given to patients that arrive on time. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. We will do our best to communicate this change to all appointments in the coming weeks.
Whatever weather the long weekend brings, we hope you are all enjoying our wonderful prairie spring! Just a reminder that we will be closed on Monday, May 24. We will return to regular hours on Tuesday, May 25.

#VétérinairesPartenaires See more
What is a Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship? The veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) ensures good veterinary care and is required to be in pl...ace before a veterinarian can provide services. This includes prescribing, dispensing or administering veterinary medications, such as antimicrobials. The specific requirements for a VCPR vary by province, but in general terms a veterinarian must have agreed to take on a client and their animals. https://www.cahi-icsa.ca/antimicrobial-resistance

Before giving a pet as a gift this holiday season, consider the impact that is being made to the animal’s health and welfare. Owning a pet is a serious responsi...bility, and new unsuspecting owners can find themselves ill-equipped or unprepared for the attention and work required to properly care for, and enrich their animal’s life.
