We are still accepting custom planters! If you would like your pots or hanging baskets done up- drop them off at our door with an envelope indicating what you’d like planted in them and we will do them up for you!

Many of you have been inquiring about the current COVID-19 situation and our greenhouse. We have been busy- seeding, transplanting, designing planters, and watching all our benches fill up with lovely little green sprouts! We are ever hopeful, and planning to be able to supply you with some flowery cheer come May. We all sure will need it!... We realize the COVID-19 situation is fluid and constantly changing, and we are trying to cope and adapt as the planting season draws near. For your safety and ours we will be implementing some changes to align with Alberta Health Services procedures and recommendations, which may include limiting the number of people in the greenhouse at a time, extending or reducing daily hours depending on the situation, and encouraging debit or credit card payment instead of cash - as well as any other necessary measures to help keep everyone safe. We are also in the process of developing a detailed list of all our annuals, perennials, vegetables, hanging baskets, planters, trees, shrubs, and garden supplies that we will post online and try to update daily. You will be able to send in your order via email or text, and we will get it ready for you for next day curbside pickup! Until then, look for upcoming posts with pictures of all the pretties that are beginning to bloom....and dream of sunshiny Spring days!

As new varieties of plants are introduced to our zone, I often grow them myself in my gardens in order to report their growth habits and needs to my customers to ensure their success. One such plant I tried a few years back has surpassed all my expectations- it is one of my flavor favourites!!!! The Albino strawberry, or Pineberry, or White strawberry....whichever name it is marketed by...is a super sweet, slightly-pink-when-ripe, red seeded strawberry. Makes awesome jam! A unique berry hardy for our area and a neat addition to the fruit salad bowl
