Eating the local market goods, the spoils of a weekend of market awesomeness. Shout out to my fun friends at @backformorebites @simplydelishsoupandsalad for the company and awesome treats and eats they make as well! First I made a silky, rich feeling soup. I boiled parsnip and celeriac root from Snowy Mountain Organics with some carrot and potato just covered in water. Once cooked, added the Where's the Beeaph Stock This Way and a can of coconut milk and used my ancient Vita...mix to process the lovely richly smooth base. Then, sauteed a classic mirepois with BacUN and Broccoli, and some garlic. Dashes of our Woo! Sauce, a bit of seasoning adjustmnet, and we had an awesome thick creamy intricately flavoured soup as thick as an Alfredo sauce. Then, added the soup to ancient grains pasta. Meals and products brought almost anywhere within a 1.3 hour radius of us in East van. All meals are only 12 bucks and are filled with vegan delights of health and comfort.
