What a past 2 weeks, hey? By this time last week The Plaza would normally be advertising it’s exciting upcoming movies and you’d be making plans for which ones you’d like to see! While that’s not currently an option, and we’d rather not see anyone in big groups, we do want to offer you the one thing your home viewing centres can’t: movie theatre popcorn. ... Tomorrow, on Friday night between 7pm and 8pm, one Plaza staff could deliver fresh, delicious Plaza popcorn to your doorstep! We will be offering one small popcorn (with butter of course) with up to 3 small bags per household to those who live within Houston. And while we might not be able to get everyone, we’d love to boost moral and offer the community some delicious popcorn during this hard time. So, how do you get some delicious popcorn? If you're familiar with Chau and Khon you'll know that their take-out sometimes exactly what the heart and stomach would need! Dear Houston and surrounding community, In light of recent events and the encouragement of the BC Government, the movie theatre, bowling alley, and mini golf side of The Plaza will close. We are currently the only theatre still open in BC and we believe it is prudent to put the safety and well being of our town first....
