Our greenhouse doors are officially now open!!

Do you over water your plants? Or never know when to water? We’ve got a solution for you! Hydrometer/pH meter... We use this handy dandy moisture meter all throughout our tropical department to help us insure we are giving our plants the right amount of water every time. Insert meter into soil *wait 60 seconds* then water your plant accordingly! Move the switch on the meter to pH to check the pH level of your soil! Make sure to always remove the moisture meter from the soil after using.

This Amaryllis bulb, with its wonderful jacket does not need water to grow and bloom. The bulb is ready to bloom within 4-6 weeks. Place the Amaryllis in a warm sunny area. Avoid direct sunlight. Rotate the bulb daily to encourage the stem to grow straight. Priced at $15.99

One of our Machines were stolen from our property at 8343 184st, Surrey. This picture isn't of the machine itself, but one very similar. It has "Port Kells Nurseries" written on the arms connecting the bucket to the cab. Last seen driving on 88th avenue around 5:15 on Thursday. If you have seen this machine around the Port Kells area, please contact the Surrey RCMP and reference file number 2020-172511. Thank you!

hats off to my wife and 2 daughters to go against my wishes and close the store, I was not happy but more than a little proud that they forced me to make the moral and right decision. After that, they worked tirelessly for 9 straight hours without breaks to take care of the enormous volume of phone calls. Lets hope for better times ahead. Unhappy but proud Dad.

Every year, Van Noort Bulbs selects a bulb to highlight, you may remember a few years ago there was a Red and White tulip to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday. This fall they will be releasing the "Canadian Liberator" tulip in honor of the part that Canadian forces played in the Liberation of Europe in 1945.
