International Choral Kathaumixw rescheduled for July 6-10, 2021.

Powell River Academy of Music Youth Choir is participating in the Music and the Movies fundraiser, celebrating Powell River Digital Film School.

Academy Chamber Choir will perform in Evergreen Theatre on Wednesday evening at 7 p, joining other choirs taking to the stage to sing for adjudicator Stephanie Nakagawa. More vocal sessions follow on Thursday and Friday.

**On Sunday, February 16th, LTDA alumnus Abby Head will be running lyrical workshops with her project "Movement for More. All levels and abilities are welcome... to come explore lyrical combinations and technique. The schedule goes as follows: 12:00-1:00 - Ages 6-8 1:00-2:30 - Ages 8-11 2:30-4:00 - Ages 12+ These workshops will be by donation, and all donations will go towards the British Columbia Youth Parliament’s project Camp Phoenix! Camp Phoenix is a summer camp for children ages 8-12 who could not otherwise attend summer camp because of social or financial reasons. Abby has been apart of the organization for the past 2 years, and she looks forward to using her passion for dance to do her part in making the project a reality.
