Flashback Friday. Was 2020 a Wasted Year? Nah, we still got to rock!

WEIRD ANNOUNCEMENT! So as you know, Powerslave was supposed to play this Saturday at Buds. Then the new covid restrictions on Saskatoon bars forced the cancellation of that show. Then Buds was able to get some things sorted out but the govt health folk really didn't want to have loud music in the city clubs again (apparently loud music means people have to get in each other faces and yell to be heard thus increasing transmission risk). So Buds booked our singer Rory to do hi...s solo acoustic show this Saturday instead. Then Rory thought it would be nice to have someone keeping the beat, so he asked Kev if he'd like to sit in and play the cajon. Then he thought, wouldn't it be nice to have another acoustic guitar to fill out the sound. After all, it's always more fun to make music with friends, so he messaged Chris... So yeah, basically - for one night ever - it's pretty much Powerslave Unplugged this Saturday night at Buds. If only Dave owned an acoustic bass...

Due to this week's newly introduced restrictions on Saskatoon nightclubs by Saskatchewan Health Authority, Buds has had no choice but to indefinitely postpone our shows scheduled for Nov 13 and 14. We will of course let everyone know when these dates are rescheduled.

Pretty sure only hardcore Simpsons fans (or hardcore Lee Carvallo fans) will appreciate this meme...
