We have 2 exciting announcements to make!! The 1st announcement is... our Online Store will be up and running this Friday May 7th!!! We are still adding items (so much glass.... so many supplies...) but quite a bit will be ready, so please check it out. You will be able to get to our online store from our webpage at prairieglass.ca... And our 2nd announcement is... We will be opening up a satellite store in Saskatoon! More details on this in the next few weeks but we are so happy to finally have a permanent location in the city!!! Stay tuned for more info on both of these announcements but for now we are going to have a little bit of a dance party!! Please share this post and let everyone know!

Woo-hoo!!! Our silkscreens from Fuse Muse Fused Glass have arrived! We can't wait to start playing with them. Lisa also made us a custom screen of my tree outside my window... worked some real magic there from a horrible picture that I sent her!! So if you need a custom screen, Lisa is your gal! She also has a great selection of pre-made screens available. We also saw that Glass Emotions has a special on their Rogue Enamels. Rogue is by far our favorite enamels to screen with. Easy to mix and easy to use! The samples are 1oz size which is alot of paint (I buy the 3oz size 'cause I'm a paint addict lol) Both of these sites offer free tutorials for their product and in the Fall I'll be offering some printing classes!

Some thoughts and feels and a free pattern today... For the past year we all have been climbing mountains. Maybe some of them have been easy, maybe some of them have been incredibly hard. It also seems like once we climb one mountain, there is another one ahead of us. At this point we have climbed a whole mountain range! But we keep climbing and keep hoping that soon we will reach that beautiful valley. We can do this, we are all amazing I made this pattern thinking about all those mountains that I have climbed this past year. Please feel free to use this pattern, create amazing glass work, and share with us what you make!

The Guild's annual Glass Art show will be online this year running from April 26th - May 27th. There will be guest speakers, online demonstrations, plus lots of fabulous glass art from their members. Check it out!
