Weve had such a wonderful first week of preschool!! This is going to be an amazing year! We want to acknowledge that we have all been away and isolated for 6 months (half a year), which means that we are more susceptible to the inevitable back to school germs when we are together. Staff has been cleaning and parents have been AMAZINGLY considerate in keeping their children home when ill. We hope that the more time spent together will strengthen our immune systems.

Hi! My name is Ashley, and I am so excited to be your childrens new teacher. I am a solo mama of 3 little humans and 1 puppy. I have lived in PG for most of my life, and I love adventuring around our beautiful city with my family. Some of my favourite things to do are hike, practice yoga, walk my puppy, and of course go to the park with my little humans. I am so looking forward to getting to know all of you and your families!

Families registered for 2020/21 Preschool: we have sent out emails or text messages (if we didnt have your email) with important information about our opening! Please let us know if those emails/texts werent received. Also, we have quite a waitlist so would greatly appreciate hearing from any families who may not be attending but are registered to start this September. Thank you! To all of our families attending our fall preschool classes: weve been working hard to figure out what this year will bring for our families and children, and staff. We are running our classes as usual with some changes being made regarding Covid19. Families will be contacted in the first week of September with much much more important information to hopefully have a very smooth transition into preschool! We are so looking forward to classes starting up again

Although weve made the decision to close our doors before the announcement of our provincial government, its still come as a wave of sadness for us. To all of our families past, present, and future: Thank you for your understanding. Thank you for your kind, supportive, and loving messages during this time. Please know that although our preschool doors are closed until an undetermined time, you are all our family. During these times of uncertainty, we are here...whether you just need a telephone visit, an ear to listen, or anything else within our power for us to help with. Even though we arent spending our days together we still want to provide love and care however we can. Sending love and healthy thoughts to you all.

How then should childhood feel? It should feel like dewy grass between the toes and crunchy snow beneath the boots, Like gooey mud between the fingers and soft sand under soles, Like crisp breeze through the hair and warm sunshine on skin, Like tiny raindrops on cheeks and intricate snowflakes on tongues. Like the splash of waves on legs and delicate petals on fingertips, Like all of the simple, splendid moments that are found during play.

Fall Preschool Families! Just a reminder that our first day of preschool for M/W/F classes will be on September 9th from 9-12:30! The first day for our T/Th classes will be September 10th from 9-12:30! Please remember that our preschool is a NUT FREE preschool due to a severe anaphylactic allergy. We ask that your child bring a healthy snack, water bottle (please no juice), indoor shoes (easy for your child to put on and take off), an extra change of clothes, and any pull-ups and wipes needed. We are so excited for our new school year to be starting!! Enjoy the remainder of your summer vacation!

Your child will need a water bottle, healthy nut free lunch, indoor shoes (easy for them to put on and take off), extra change of clothes, and weather appropriate outdoor clothing. We are looking forward to another amazing week of summer camp!

Early Learning Preschool of the North Summer Camps 2019 $50 non-refundable fee per week is required upon registration. This fee goes towards your weekly fees. ... (For children ages 3-5 yrs old) Week 1 July 22-26: Wonders of the Water $100/week Week 2 July 29-August 2: Exploring the Wilderness $100/week Week 3 August 6-9: Digging up Dino's $80/week Week 4 August 12-16: Bugs and Slimy Things $100/week All camps run each day of the week from 9-12. There will be no camp on Monday August 5th as we will be closed for the stat. Our preschool is a Nut Free preschool. Parents will be asked to send their child with a healthy snack and a water bottle each day. We also ask that your child bring indoor shoes and come already lathered in sunscreen. We look forward to a fun-filled summer of learning and memory making!! **These camps are on a first come first serve basis. We require registration and a deposit in order to guarantee your space. Thank you for your understanding. **Please give us as much notice as possible if your child will not be attending a camp that they were registered for as we often have a wait list of families hoping for a space and we would like to give them time to prepare for camp. When we say to a child, you try first or you can ask a friend for help, too we are trying to teach patience, problem solving, and independence. We are also teaching children how to be a good friend, how to help another in need, and that we believe in them and their ability to care for themselves and those around them. The children in these pictures helped one another without the guidance of a teacher. They noticed a friend needing help and offered it without thinking twice. This happens so many times throughout our days and the friendships built are strengthened with each moment spent together. We are so lucky to be a part of these amazing moments
