Happy New Year! We are back in the office . We are back in orange phase today but that does not affect our service to patients . There will continue to be screening questions and temperature checks and all staff and podiatrists wearing PPE to protected everyone . Zoinks has been tired getting ready for Xmas so he thought he would squeeze in time for a massage . Jordan Best hopefully knows he’s scheduled today Jordan an RMT, is here at the clinic full time for any massage needs .

Couldn’t find this little dude for a few days and this morning saw this ... we use foam boxes to do impressions for orthotics . Guess Zoinks thought snow angels would be a better idea. He must be missing the snow

Someone looking for sympathy today claims he can’t help out as his feet and legs too swollen . We put compression stockings on and elevated his legs . Hope this helps Zoinks get back on his feet for Xmas .

Zoinks found another use for the masks . Sleeping on the job again !!! The staff here wondering where they can get their own life size hammocks for naps at work

First two weeks are in ! We were so happy to be back . You can see we are making every effort to keep you safe . We are asked several times a day , that must be uncomfortable, must be hot ...yes it is but we do what we have to . Dr Hartlen has the covid haircut and mine stays hidden under the bonnet until next week . Our staff are doing their best to ensure the wait room is cleaned constantly and we ask you to be patient with us . We are trying to fit everyone in ASAP but it takes time . We will be following the guidelines of GNB and public health which will include ; Triple screening of patients and staff during booking , day before and day of appointments... masks worn by staff and patients plexiglass barrier at front desk hand sanitizers and hand washing stations PPE worn by our podiatrists sanitizing of rooms and common areas between patients spacing of appointments reduction of patients in clinic at one time credit or debit / no cash at this time spacing in wait room We appreciate all your patience going forward . A trick to getting your compression stockings on: 1) Turn the stockings inside out. 2) Make a pocket with the toes. The bigger/deeper the pocket the better. You should still be able to see the heel. 3) Put the toe pocket that you made in the stockings on the toes while making sure the heel part is on the bottom. 4) Pinch the stocking on the heel and the top and pull towards the heel. If it does not go over the heel, that's ok.... 5) Pull the opening of the stocking over the foot and up the leg. 6) Use your Bauerfeind gloves and pull the stocking up in place. Make sure the stocking is all a solid color on the leg and not dark in some spots and light in others. You want to make sure the sock is even on the leg. See more
