Temporary fire ban: Prior centennial campground The fireban includes campfires, charcoal briquettes, tiki torches, candles, and any open flames. Gas or propane... stoves and barbeques, that are specifically designed for cooking food, and CSA / ULC certified portable campfire apparatuses with a flame less than 15cm, are the only appliances exempt from the fire ban. Seuls les réchauds et les barbecues au gaz ou au propane spécialement conçus pour Ia cuisson de même que les feux de camp artificiels homologués CSA/ULC produisant une flamme de moms de 15 cm ne sont pas visés par I’interdiction de faire des feux. Ils doivent être homologués CSA/ULC, et la hauteur de la flamme ne doit pas dépasser 15 cm en période d’interdiction de faire des feux. Les foyers portatifs sont interdits dans tous les campings de l’arrière-pays ainsi qu’aux aires de fréquentation diurne (y compris la flèche Sidney). See more

Portable Campfire Apparatuses are permitted at McDonald Campground ...and Prior Centennial Campground only. Portable campfire apparatuses must be CSA/ULC certified. Flame height must be below 15cm during posted fire bans. Portable campfire apparatuses are prohibited at all backcountry and day use areas (including Sidney Spit). See more
