Dogs of Pro-Fix
Profix picked up a couple new machines today in Langley @ableauctions. Always nice to advance our tooling set up. Stay tuned for some updated shop pictures.
Our latest project out of the shop. The crew at Pro-Fix would thank Wahkash Contracting for the opportunity to restore and upgrade this Caterpillar 980F. This was a frame-up restoration and throughout the build we kept a close attention to detail, constantly thinking of the operator and mechanics that would look after this machine when we were finished. Forestry feeds our families. #caterpillar980f #westcoastlogging #forestryfeedsmyfamily

For those with an eye for detail, here is a few up close pictures of the latest yarder project.
This is a Cypress 7280B#2. It was built in 1984, by Mantle Industries’s for Cypress Equipment. It has been upgraded to most C model options except wide cab. This machine still sports a V-12 Silver 71 for power. Profix would like to thank the entire team for all their hard work, and attention to detail in rebuilding this machine. Also thanks to Mike Hamilton Logging for the opportunity to restore this amazing machine. Have fun Jim!
Stormy day at the shop!
When you want it done right!
Designed and built in Campbell River, British Columbia the WFP Bandit was created to help a single operator bundle logs safely, ergonomically, and efficiently. Wrapping sorted logs for transportation to our mills is an important step in our log flow process. The WFP Bandit gets it done!
Some fresh paint on the 7280 rebuild
Pro-Fix would like to thank Western Forest Products and T-Mar Industries Ltd. for the opportunity to assist with the installation and run up of the reload at Block Bay, Powell River B.C. Also would like to thank Bob Marquis Contracting, and the local Powell River crew that took part. It was a great project to be involved in. Please comment if you have any questions about the project
