ALWAYS WORKIN ON OUR FITNESS 2020 had nothing to do with this. This is the result of 4 years worth of incredible growth, and a new year filled with possibilities. What 2020 did teach us: to not ever take anything for granted, to smile in the face of tough times, and to never lose sight of our why. We remember this as we look towards our future and get ready to show you the projects we’ve been working on. Cheers babes. To all of this.... And to all that the future holds See more

Through all the ups + downs the biggest lesson we’ve learned is that we’re resilient: as humans, as a studio, as a fitness family. We’ve adapted + kept going, realizing that it’s not gonna always be perfect. The bad days happen- honour them. But don’t let them define you. We keep on keepin on, remembering why we started this in the first place. Perfection was never part of the plan, so we’re not over here stressed with the curve balls. We’re just sculpting one inch, one person at a time + enjoying the view while we’re here. We’ve got this babes, and so do you

Shit is hard right now. Like HARD. All of the unknowns, the things that have changed, the things that have changed and will never ever go back to the way they were. Insider secret: It’s mf hard keeping our doors open. Our hands are raw from the non-stop cleaning, we hate seeing so many waitlists, and worst of all- can’t see your smiles under your masks. But you know what? We’re DOING IT. We’re setting an example of being responsible with safety, we’re going HAM on the music +... impromptu studio dances, and we’re sculpting one inch, one person, one day at a time. We’ve read the proverbial social media comment sections and just have to say. We have the best of the best sweating beside us on the daily. Thank you for not arguing with us about the safety precautions we have to/want to put in place. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for believing in us. It’s been an incredible almost 4 years (also wtf, 4 years? ) and we’re still here day after day doing this for you + because of you. Thank you for making the hard things less hard, the good things turn into amazing, + always supporting your neighborhood fitness studio with all the love and sweat level midnight. xo, Sasha + the Project Barre crew

It’s never gonna happen if you don’t love it. Forcing yourself to do something you hate... tell us how many of y’all actually ate your broccoli when you were a kid. Honestly. We were turned off that shit for years. If your workout doesn’t spark joy, well. You’re missing out. Once you’re here, you get it

This isn’t some fancy invite-only club. Ain’t no one got time for judge-y stares up and down + wondering if you’ll fit in. Here’s the thing. All you gotta do is press play/hit the join button/book the class. That’s it. We do the rest. And we do it so that you don’t have to stress about fitting in (you do) or if you’ll be good enough (you are). We’ve said it before and here it is again: You can totally come sit with us, babe. press play with a monthly subscription @ projectb...arretv.vhx.tv join us on Facebook with our Babes Group that’s open to anyone, no charge. If you don’t know exactly how many cals you burned in class, did you really even burn those calories? Don’t get us wrong. We love everything that tech does for us. And we love the satisfaction of seeing the screen flash a 600 calorie burn after a 45 min bounce class. But we’re just here to preach that there’s hella more happening during your workout than the cals you crushed. Let’s talk QUALITY. Like, k cool your Apple Watch says you burned all the cals but your knee says you...’re gonna need a replacement before you’re 40. Let’s be real. If your workout is hurting you it’s not a good thing. Your workout should help your body function better in your day-to-day. Your workout should improve your life. Please don’t stress too much about the calories, and stress more about how you feel during/after/more after your workouts, k? We promise: once you’re here, you get it (no knee replacements required)

Anyone else feel like this week was trying to kill them? The whole, you know, pandemic aside... it’s just been a TIME. We’re focusing extra hard on feel good things right now, and starting the annual punch pass sale a lil early seems like the right thing to do. There’s no expiry date on the passes (yup, really. Covid times y’all.) but each pass has a limit of 2 per person.... 10 punch pass: $25 off ($13/class) 20 punch pass: $50 off ($12/class) Officially on sale on our MindBody and in-studio, and only until Sunday at 9pm

The bad news: nothing lasts forever The good news: nothing lasts forever Today, we made adjustments to the studio to allow for more distancing. When we re-opened our doors in June, we made the choice to distance more than what was required. We made the choice to give you more space to sweat, instead of cramming in one more spot. Why? Well we think you know us by now, and we’re def not into the whole 30+ person boutique fitness class vibe. So why do it now?... The new COVID restrictions announced today don’t impact our ‘business as usual’ much. Because we were already spaced more than required and because we’ve been doing the extra cleaning since the day we opened (just ask Annie, she even made a 2-page cleaning checklist like the day after she was hired). We adapt to make sure we do everything we can to keep you safe, and we keep mf sculpting and sweating (what we do best). Since 2017 we’ve been a little extra with making sure you have the best class experience. We’ve gone all 2020 tho, and are also making sure you have the safest class experience
