Update on Operations. We know everyone has been patiently waiting to getting back to traveling soon. And we know you have been unsure of what is happening with our tours. Unfortunately we have lost all of 2020 from March onward. We still have our fingers crossed for Nov Moose Jaw.... Our plans for 2021 are to offer select Canadian destinations and are all contingent on COVID-19 and group restrictions. We are hoping to relaunch our monthly Moose Jaw tours and have dates selected and listed on our website. Our Atlantic Canada Tours are being planned and are listed on the website and will no longer include flights. Flights must be booked separately once tours are guaranteed. Our Spring Victoria tour is being scheduled and will be up on our website shortly. Other tours for 2021 will include select BC destinations and will be updated soon as well as a few Canadian Mystery Tours. US bound tours will be added back in once it is deemed safe to do so. We will not be publishing a 2021 brochure due to cost restraints and what transpired in 2020 due to COVID-19. We are no longer in our Riel Park office and are working from home. All of our advertising and tours will be on Facebook, our Website www.promotiontours.ca, e-mail blasts if you have an email on file with us, and newspaper advertising. We had some difficulties switching our phone lines but it is all sorted out now. We thank you all for your patience in 2020 and anyone who has a tour deposit or payment from 2020 will have first option at the 2021 tours.

COVID 19 Travel Update July 23, 2020 update PROMOTION TOURS TRAVEL POLICY FOR UPCOMING & FUTURE TRAVEL... With the uncertainty of travel schedules due to group travel restrictions, Promotion Tours has implemented an updated policy to help address immediate concerns with travel plans. The safety and security of our guests, employees, and all of our travel hosts is our first priority. At this time, Promotion Tours has postponed all tours with the exception of Moose Jaw through to Dec 31, 2020. As the COVID 19 situation is still fluid and group travel numbers being extremely limited with our travel destination hosts as well as coach seating due to social distancing, we do not feel that now is the time to travel. We will communicate any new developments going forward. We have made the decision to close our office and are working from home. We are still receiving phone messages and emails and are responding in a timely manner. In line with fellow tour operators and airline partners, as of April 1st 2020 the following policy update for travel will be effective and remain in place until further notice and is subject to change at any time. If any tour is postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (such as government advisements, travel restrictions, destination host restrictions or airline restrictions), we would give our passengers the option of transferring to an alternate travel date or placed into a travel credit for any Promotion Tours tour to be used within 24 months after the original date of travel. Any cancellations of tours by the customer, will have any outstanding deposits/payments turned into a travel credit to be used for any other tour within the next 24 months after the departure date of that tour. Please note that at this time we are not issuing any refunds on deposits or past travel vouchers until the time that we are able to safely resume operations. On any 2021 tours already scheduled we are taking reservations without new deposits and will only process new deposits or tour payments once we know for certain that travel is safe and the tour is able to proceed. We can not wait to host you once again on our travels and hope that you are all staying safe. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying times.

There hasn’t really been any talk from govt or health officials on how to get the motor coach industry rolling again. This is an interesting article. What do you think? There is a huge Motorcoach industry rally happening today in the USA. It is said it is a 19 mile long convoy headed to the White house According to Destination Canada the tourism industry was hit first, hit the hardest, will be the last to recover, and who is receiving the least financial support from the COVID-19 lockdowns. It is nice to see this rally down south to raise awareness to the hardest his industry.

We would like to wish all the Moms out there a Happy Mother’s Day! Here are a few pics from our Mother’s Day in Banff Tour a few years back.
