According to a survey conducted by Doxa for the Italian Gelato Institute, out of 1000 people interviewed - from 15 years of age upwards - 35% of the sample would consume it all year round, a percentage followed by 1-2 times a week for 36%, from 3-4 per week for 16%, up to 11% for daily consumption. The choice is divided between artisanal and packaged products: the first is more customizable, while the latter is more practical, thanks to the protective packaging and the presence of the legend of ingredients and calories.
