Pure family, First of all we want to let all of you know just how special each of you are to us at Pure. If it weren't for you, this Pure Community would never have survived the past 9 years. Even though we have been given this challenging news, we want you to know that we can get through this. We will rise strong as a community and as a family and even though we may not be together in person, we are still here to support you in any way that we can. As you may have heard..., we have been given strict instructions to stop group classes immediately. We will be cancelling all "in person" classes as of tomorrow and will be offering our LIVESTREAM classes until the end of November. After November we encourage all of you to check out our Pure Hot Online [ link in bio ] membership option since we will not be offering Livestream after November. The good news is, we have over 50 videos that you can do from the comfort of your home. Everything from HIIT to Core Flows with various instructors. We cannot wait to continue to build this library going forward. We are confident you will love it too. Your physical + mental health and well being is a top priority for us. LONELINESS Are you feeling alone, broken, sacred, worried, confused or lost? Why are we as a collective being forced to shut down our safe and healthy places of companionship, community and connection? Pure Hot Yoga is a place where people come to feel a sense of belonging. Where our members have become family all while becoming a part of our strong and connected community.... In the past two months since we were able to reopen, we have followed all protocols diligently and there have been no cases in our studio. It has taken those two months to slowly start to build hope and confidence in our community that Pure is a safe place to come and practice again. To hear the words on Thursday afternoon that all group fitness and sports were to be shut down immediately without any proven numbers or facts was devastating.To say that we felt broken, hurt, sad, lonely and confused is an understatement. Why are we being punished for a basic human need of connection and community. Yoga heals our minds and our bodies.When Pure was forced to shut down its doors for the second time, we felt that we needed to speak up. Why are all of the things that keep us mentally and physically healthy being taken away? If you feel anything like we do right now, we want to support and help you and we want you to know that you are not alone. As a studio, we want to reach out to all of you and encourage you to join us in a campaign of supporting health, connection and community. We are so excited to announce that starting tomorrow we will be offering small (4 people max) group classes at the studio. These classes are open to our November Challenge members only for the time being. Please sign up well ahead of time on MINDBODY to ensure you get a spot. There will be two class options, one that is Livestream and one that is in person. Keep in mind that all of our classes will be available via Livestream to make sure that everyone has the opportunity t...o move with us. For the time being, we will only be offering 3 classes a day that allow for in person participation. In addition, we are currently offering private classes for groups of 4 people for the time being. Staying Strong As promised, we have been working around the clock to find the best live stream options for you possible. Starting today we will be launching all livestream classes on MINDBODY. ... Clients this is what it looks like for you (it is easy we promise). 1. Sign up for your class in MindBody as you usually would. Your class will be posted as a LIVESTREAM. 2. You will receive an email with the link to launch your class to the address of your MindBody account. 3. The link will auto-populate your camera and microphone just before class begins. Configure your microphone OFF. Video ON or OFF, your preference 4. Flow with us over the next two weeks and share your progress with the rest of our challengers on Instagram! Oh, the world we live in. As directed from the Alberta Government, we will be temporarily closing our doors for 2 weeks.
