Pyongyang Project 16.11.2020

Join us this August on the most comprehensive 12-day academic trip available through North Korea and Yanbian! We join in on National Liberation Day celebrations in Pyongyang, straddle the Line of Control separating North from South Korea, exchange viewpoints and go over business school case studies with North Korean university students, play volleyball with locals at a public beach in Wonsan, travel by private charter plane from Hamhung to Chongjin, sleep in homestays at Moun...t Chilbo, visit factories in Chongjin, have a sports day at a North Korean middle school in the countryside on the Sino-Korean border, and participate in an academic lecture series at Yanbian University. This trip combines education with exchange, interaction and tourism to create a comprehensive experience for international university students, scholars and faculty in North Korea. This trip is lead by Chinese and Korean-speaking regional NGO experts with over a decade of combined experience working in North Korea. No other tour out there will match the expertise and interaction available through this program. http://www.pyongyangproject.org/programs/open/summer.html

Studying some North Korean propaganda: here's a recent image we snapped a couple of weeks ago in Pyongsong, South Pyong'an Province. The slogan reads " - !" which translates to "Let's Completely Arm Ourselves with Kimilsing-kimjongilism!" This slogan was first plastered across the country following Kim Jong Un's first public speech on April 15th, 2012.
