We have been advised: October 22, 2020. Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development staff have completed an initial assessmen...t of the Rennell Sound Forest Service Road and have located seven landslides between 4km and 11k. The Rennell Sound remains closed at the 4km mark. Ministry engineering staff are still gathering information to better understand the scope of the impacts to the road and the extent of the repairs required.
