Along with the last opening night also comes the last media day ~ so many inspiring stories told and heard #backstageCirque on #QUIDAM. Thank you cast & crew for sharing a part of you with all of us. If YOU were a critic and had to choose one word to describe Quidam, what would it be?

Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever in #Christchurch and the very last time in the World, our remarkable crew loaded in #QUIDAM into an arena It took the team of 21 Cirque technicians & 60 local stagehands 10 hours to unload the 20 containers and install the 39 tons of equipment required to create the world of Quidam by Cirque du Soleil at the Horncastle Arena Q? ~ If only one person was to build it, how many hours would it take to assemble our stage?

This week before opening the show in Auckland, the #QUIDAM family was treated to a ceremonial #haka performed by the Ngti Whtua they even showed us a few moves and shared the sacred act of hongi (breath of life)
