Back to back race weekends with Lime Rock up next! Our team’s home race at CTMP was a tough one, finishing 4th and 6th overall. On Saturday we qualified 2nd in... a downpour. After a fog delay we raced in drying conditions with rain tires. It was all about nursing the tires to the finish with cords showing on the tires by the end of the race. Sunday’s race was sunny and dry. Starting 5th, we all knew the start was going to be important. This was exactly the case but unfortunately didn’t go in our favour. After a couple attempts to pass around the outside in T8 we had to settle for 6th. It’s sure to have looked exciting and was a great clean battle. A big thank you to all our family, friends, fans, and supporters that came out to see us race. It really was a special weekend. Now we focus on Lime Rock, another Sprint-X weekend with Wolf in the car. We’re currently half way through the season. If the second half is anything like the first, it’s going to be a wild ride! P3 in race 1 at VIR! We’ve been making steps in the right direction this weekend and it all came together today. Starting P5, I had a clean stint and handed off... to Wolf in P3. Unfortunately, we never did a quick lap with traffic in our way during the sugar laps on new tires. This means starting P9 tomorrow with lots of work to do in the race!
