For most people getting a massage is the highlight of their day. Consider following these tips to ensure a busy or stressful day doesn't negate the calming benefits of your massage. 1.Try to avoid rushing to get to your appointment. Leave yourself plenty of time to arrive a couple minutes early. 2.Avoid the distraction of paying for your service after your massage and instead send your payment via Interac e-Transfer anytime prior to your appointment.... 3.Communicate your needs and expectations before or during your appointment. If you're not getting what you need, let me know (I won't be offended). 4.Take three deep cleansing breaths when you get on the table and focus on your breath during the massage. Focusing on your breathing will help quiet your mind for a more enjoyable experience. 5.Take time for yourself after your massage to reflect upon the experience. 6.Book your next appointment before you leave and add it to your calendar.

So many things to be grateful for in our everyday lives, but always it's nice to celebrate together. What are you thankful for today?

Ask yourself what you need today? Is it time in nature, time to read or cook something good to eat, or maybe it's time to book that next massage. Whatever you need make some time to put yourself first today!

September can be a very busy month getting organized for the school season ahead. Be sure to make time for your own needs by booking yourself a massage.

Sometimes we all need a little extra downtime.

I do my best to work out your knots without pain. If you want to cry because you're so happy they're gone, well that's another story.
