Lady called and said she had it swept by another sweeep and it was still not drawing well .. 5ft of birds nest and yet more higher up chimney ... Took a while however it's drawing perfect now .

Was sweeping a wood burner 2 weeks back and the kind gentleman showed me this beauty in another room . A danish wood burner . Not in use however had to take a picture of this magnificent appliance

Thankfully times have changed

Beautiful chimney . Took 14 rods for the 1st rod to find fresh air . First time it's been swept for 16 years .

Open fire and the soot kept coming .

Plenty of tar had built up on the damper inside this stove . Flu liner desperately needed sweeping . Forgot to take an after picture .
