Sometimes the opportunity to show love and compassion helps heal grief. This little guy desperately needs a forever home. He is high energy, with a great prey drive. Would probably excel at Flyball. He is great with adults and other dogs and loves to cuddle, unfortunately he chases cats and is too active for small children. We MUST FIND HIM A HOME SOON!

I really love this poem and am reminded that it is important for us to remember 'the Dash' for everyone we love and have lost. We are ALL, more than the circumstances of our birth or death. Grief can be overwhelming - we can help.
What a beautiful sentiment.
Grief is not a staircase, it is a maze.
The saddest words a dog can hear is 'this will be my last pet'. Sharing love has the capacity to mend broken hearts, and heal the wounds of loneliness.

Love is what they give and all they ask.
Many people would define heaven as a place to reunited with their pets who have gone ahead.
Death does not separate us from our memories.
And in the midst of the storm there are those who care.
