The Township of Ramara is pleased to announce the appointment of Zach Drinkwalter to the position of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Zach Drinkwalter, who has been with the Township since 2017, has progressed through various roles within the organization, from Deputy Treasurer to Director of Corporate Services/Treasurer to Acting CAO. Zach will officially take on the new role on May 16, 2022.

#ICYMI - Construction at Lovely Day Park (Atherley Park) for a new playground has started. Work will be intermittent over the next month. The playground area will be closed during construction and reopen once construction end. We want to thank the local community for their patience as they eagerly wait for a new playground. We will announce the playground's opening once construction ends and all inspections have taken place.

Getting ready for winter? As of September 28th, 2020, Council passed the Water Use Bylaw 2020.56 that prohibits the removal of a water meter, except as authorized by the Township. Please note that a plumber can winterize your meter without actually removing it. As well, property owners are responsible for any loss or damage including freezing to the meter. Please note that the water bill due date is changed to November 30th due to technical difficulties. All water bills will be sent to residents by the end of October.
