Here is a short video we shot and edited for CIVIX about the Alberta Student Vote that was happening in conjunction with the provincial election. Talking to these young people is one of the few things in this world that gives me hope for our collective future.

Here is an aerial I captured yesterday in Nuchatlaht territory on the northwest tip of Nootka Island, at the start of herring season. (Try and spot the two whales in the shot )

Spent a glorious day on the water yesterday in Nuchatlaht territory, on the northwest tip of Nootka Island, with my friend Edgar Smith.

I recently worked with my friend Tim Rolls and his team at Tangible Interaction to produce a short video about their creation, Spore, a wireless LED lighting and mapping system that allows you to create playful interactive light installations with custom mapping in any environment in under an hour. Fascinating stuff. Check it out!

We've got a new aerial video from our Heartwood Documentree about the endangered old-growth forests of the Schmidt Creek valley on northeast Vancouver Island, which are being targeted for logging by BC Timber Sales (the BC government's own logging agency). This area happens to be very close to the orca rubbing beaches of Robson Bight, which could be threatened by logging on these steep slopes. (Featuring music by Michael Red & Jenny Lea.
