Wow, what a great honour to be selected as the winner of the Alvie Thompson Teacher of the Year award. Too many people to thank have helped and inspired me over the last 20+ years of teaching and coaching. To all my students, past and present colleagues, fellow PGA of B.C. members, family and friends, Thank You!!

A great surprise and honour to be awarded the Vancouver Island award and nomination for the PGA of B.C. Teacher of the Year award, named after the great Alvie Thompson! As teachers and coaches we love what we do every day. Moments like these are an amazing bonus!
