SPRING IS HERE! ahem... still waiting patiently Just checking in with all my great peeps on Facebook today. Apparently mother nature is playing with us and is as hormonal as some of us women feel! Starting a new painting today of something whimsical and a glimpse of summer. Creating anything is both challenging and invigorating. I would encourage everyone to try to create something new in your life. When I get busy painting the world falls away and I am in a state of bliss :...) We are all creators of things, embrace your creativity and enjoy some fun in your day. Paint your nails, paint your toes, paint a canvas or paint a beautiful image of summer in your mind - Visualizing of the masses of those beautiful summer days, will, I believe bring it on so much faster! How do we get inspired to try new things and take risks? For me, it can be a simple glimpse of something that starts my mind twirling. It seems one little idea can bloom into 100. It is reigning it in that is the hard part and not getting carried away. As a larger than life thinker with no limits I am sometimes carried away in my daydreams to a point of wondering how do I even start that new idea? Having grown up with a bunch of free thinking artists, and listening for hou...rs to the dreams and ideas floating around at home as a kid I have luckily maintained that open level of creative thinking and wonderment. It is however February and I am here to say sometimes the best of us "happy go lucky" free thinking dreamers get stuck. I am definitely feeling the blahs right now. So as for "Getting Inspired" well, I figure its only another week until March so Im just gonna hang in there and go easy on myself and trust that something will and always does crawl right up into my psyche and get me going. ahhhhh breathe. February is but days from being over. If you have the blahs too maybe give yourself a break as well. Kindness, gentleness, appreciation, acceptance - exhale Grumpy butforever the optimist!!

Just finished Bird very fun to do! May branch out and do some abstract as well. Enjoying the texture of the background and the free create process.
