One of my newest builds. Acoustic guitar with Western red cedar top. Katalox fingerboard with pine cone inlay. Fibonacci shaped shell back made with Cherry. Walnut burl with some pyrography art. There's a video at the end of the album to hear the sound.

A track I wrote a while back and recently did some over dubs with a recent electric ukulele I built.

Little audio sample of this Shell Back concert size ukulele I made for a customer in 2019. Curly Redwood top.

2019 builds. Considering Su and I moved in to our new house last year and set up a new shop, that's a lot of builds. Already started my new builds for 2020. Happy new year to all.

We got to meet Pete Howlett. Master builder/designer from the UK. It felt so good to talk to him and be appreciated from a peer. Great soul too. This all happened at the Royal City ukulele Festival in Guelph. Great turn out, sold some instruments, met some amazing people and got more connected to this great community ukulele Players.

Good morning! Thank you so much for this amazing coffee mug Monica Viola of Monsky creations gallery. I love her style and asked if she would make me a musical cup. She did and I love it! https://www.facebook.com/MonSkyCreationsGallery/

My new inlay idea for this year. Pine cones! Also, turquoise is going to be a bit of a colour theme for this year's builds. I'm using some turquoise stained woo...d that got a while back. This one is going to be a 5 string tenor ukulele with my shell back design. I've also got a couple of guitars and u-bass in the works. https://www.raysrootworks.com/ See more
