Over the next few days I am going to do some posts regarding Canada Revenue Agency's online access to tax information. CRA has 3 different types of access: My Account, My business Account and Represent a Client. These can be seen at the following web address: https://www.canada.ca///e-services/cra-login-services.html There are also three different ways to sign in your accounts. The first is with a sign-in partner which includes all of the major banks and some credit unions. You can just sign in using the same login credentials. The second is setting up a CRA UserID and password. The third is using a Provincial ID. The time to start planning for the 2022 Tax Season is here! No, that is not a typo, I mean 2022. The plan should include donations, RRSP contributions, RESP contributions (if you have kids). Early planning and monthly contributions make things less hectic towards the end of the year. Starting a file for your 2022 income taxes is not a bad idea either. Keep medical receipts, donation receipts and anything else you think can help in one place. It is often said that the only sure things are death and taxes. The truth is that death is something that happens to our loved ones. The time after is filled with a multitude of emotions and the loss takes a tremendous amount of energy. The other part is that our loved ones leave an estate will need to be cared for. Hi, I made it thru Tax season and it was not that as grueling as I expected. Better luck next year. I had a lot of disappointed clients this year who were expecting refunds and ended up owing due to the CERB. it was unfortunate that the government had to move so fast on that last year. I for one could have made due with $1,900 a month and $100 into my tax account. I guess they had to pay for it somehow.
