One of my goals is to get comfortable in front of a camera again. Today felt like a good day to try and take a selfie because @alilovescolour toned and cut my hair, and I'm feeling FRESH! - For the past five-ish years, I've struggled with accepting how I look, specifically in photos. I used to be a selfie QUEEEEN but lost some confidence after experiencing trauma both mentally and physically. Thankfully working with @courtneywassfit has given me so much more gratitude for my ...body and what it has gotten me through. - I love social media (for the most part), but the expectations to show up are sometimes daunting, especially as a business owner. I want to tell you more about who I am and why you should work with me but accepting myself has been an enormous challenge. (Not because you are not good enough. YOU ARE ENOUGH!) But because you haven't created a personal brand that convinces hiring managers or potential clients to trust you. - Branding is the set of actions you take to shape and cultivate your brand's identity in consumers' minds. EXHILARAT!ON BRUT ROSÉ - Quite possibly, my favourite wine... ever. - For my 25th birthday, we visited Mission Hill for a private lunch at the estate. When we arrived, I was immediately drawn to the minimalist bottle design as they poured their guests a glass of this effervescent wine. But when I tasted it wow.... - Here are the winemaker notes on this delicious brut rose: "When we decided it was time to make a Sparkling Rose, our winemaker Ben Bryant and Viticilturist Rob Archurch started by selecting specific vineyard blocks from two of our estate vineyards stretching across Black Sage Road and Golden Mile Bench in Oliver. Each one of our vineyards has a distinct microclimate, lending unique flavour characteristics to the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir used in this Brut Rosé. First planted in 1996, our Oliver vineyards are incredibly diverse with more than 60 different individual blocks, affording us an amazing array of premium quality fruit." - With tasting notes of raspberries, peach and freshly cut watermelon, its the perfect wine to kick back with on a warm summer evening. - I have to say, although I admire their traditional bottle design, I love that the Mission Hill brand is stepping out of their comfort zone to expand into new markets. With an artsy "millennial pink" label depicting a gender-neutral body and soft copper-hued wine, the product stands out to me as being elegant and inclusive. The label manifests a feeling of contemporary art, making this the perfect bubbly for a special event. - I hope they continue to add to the Exhilarat!on product line with the figure in different poses and different label colours.
