Traffic could have some delays tomorrow in Lloydminster Potential traffic delays at Highway 16 and 56 Avenue Traffic signal installation on Wednesday... Lloydminster, AB/SK Motorists may experience traffic delays near the intersection of Highway 16 and 56 Avenue throughout the day on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The City of Lloydminster, through CANA Energy Ltd., will be replacing the traffic signal poles at the intersection of Highway 16 (44 Street) and 56 Avenue between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting. Roadway and pedestrian crossing users may experience delays during this process; however, a complete road closure is not anticipated. Motorists are reminded to allow extra travel time, to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs, detours and barriers.
