While we are still working it is not "business as usual" if you are thinking of going out to view houses or list your property there are a few things you need to consider: Sellers, let your agent know if you are self isolating, if you have been traveling, have any symptoms including a fever, cough, sore throat etc. Before showings disinfect door handles, light switch...es, counters, taps and hand rails. Leave lights on, closet doors and bedroom doors open. Sellers can request a Sellers Condition to Access the Premises... To view the property Inspect the property To gain access to the property: Confirm the health and recent travel info last provided by the individuals above has not changed All individuals must wear nitrile gloves All individuals must wear masks All individuals must use anti-microbial, alcohol-based hand sterilizer All individuals must not touch anything except the front door. The seller will leave the lights on and room and closet doors open, including a few cabinets, and drawers. (This condition may not suitable for home inspections) to try and minimize the sellers exposure. Buyers: Consider a virtual tour before an in person tour and if you are still interested, limit who views the property to only the purchasing parties and try to leave children at home.
