PGA & Champions Tour Recap: What a week it was at Bayhill!! Arnie's ole course turned out to be one of the most challenging tests in recent memory as the worlds... best players struggled to put out low scores. In round two, only ONE player shot in the red numbers. Despite that, Tyrrell Hatton outlasted the Marc Leishman by a stroke to take home the Arnold Palmer Invitational!! It was an unbelievable performance by Hatton who scratched and clawed his way to victory. The tension did not go away until the final hole where both players made par to seal the win for Hatton! Defending champion, Sungjae Im had another strong showing with a 3rd place finish following his win last weekend! Nick Taylor finished in a tie for 56th, but grinded well all week. Corey Conners missed the cut by one shot at +4. Well done to all the players!! On the PGA Tour Champions, Ernie Els took home the Hoag Classic for his first title on the tour with a -16 finish! David Morland IV stuck around all week long including an astounding 61 on day one! David placed a T-7 finish. What a week for our Monday Qualifier! Stephen Ames also had a solid week, shooting -2 in round four to finish in a tie for 36th! #golf #arnoldpalmerinvitational #bayhill #hatton #leishman #sungjaeim #rory #fowler #nicktaylor #coreyconners #davidmorlandIV #hoagclassic #ernieels #bigeasy #tough #tournament #conditions #winners #qualifier
