Tugging at the Heart! How are you livin?

For no person will be justified made righteous, acquitted, and judged acceptable in His sight by observing the works prescribed by the Law. For the real function of the Law is to make men recognize and be conscious of sin not mere perception, but an acquaintance with sin which works toward repentance, faith, and holy character. Romans 3:20

Who are we? As men, how do we define ourselves? Are we the same man in the light as we are in the dark? When the lights go out how are we living? Do we live with a sense of urgency for God’s love and appreciation in the daylight but cower in the dark? Do we struggle living lives that on the surface are humble and accepting but behind our doors we are acting in ways that do not show that? For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will... not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17 It was once said that our conscience is the softest pillow we can lay our head upon when we go to sleep. All comes out in the light of Jesus. He is the truth and the light. And through him we are saved. All men struggle with something. Where will you find the help? Where will you seek his love to help guide you to the light? I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

We all know that two heads are better than one. Three are better than two.... but what are we doing about leaning on one another in the way God has shown us? How are we allowing people into our lives that will support us in areas that we are weak? How are we supporting men in areas that they are weak? Are we helping or are we in it for ourselves? Today, take a minute and look around you. What are you good at that you can help someone out with? What are you not so good at that someone can help you with? As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
