Our holiday Virtual Art Maket continues! There's still time to submit! Susan Delaney SusanDelaney.com Susan Delaney... My recent landscape work explores the idea that the particular landscape experience is a textured and layered one, which mingles association and memory with complex and shifting visual perceptions. The layering of washes, intuitive brushwork and paint manipulation are a creative response to varying viewpoints and to shifting ‘takes’ on form and light, and are a physical expression of the experience. Check out more of Susan's works on her website and Facebook!
Huge shout out to Volunteer Central for this lovely article about the Arts Council and what we do! Even bigger shout out to the dozens of volunteers who help us make our community thrive throughout each and every year. We are deeply grateful to everyone who shares their creativity with us!

Congratulations to Mieko Ouchi on this awesome appointment! She has been working with Tree House Youth Theatre recently, mentoring participants! We've got some amazing talent in our local theatre community (even if they drive down from Edmonton once in a while!)
Friends, we're going to be working from home for the next few weeks as much as possible. The phone is forwarded, the laptop is with us, so we continue to be here to help if you need us by email, phone or video. On that note, we'd like to let you know about a Zoom-like website that offers private rooms with no time limits that requires no downloads or otherwise. It's called goteam.video and it's super helpful. Our Room is available at https://goteam.video/rdartscouncil, so if you need to chat while seeing a mask-free smiling face, please get in touch and we'll meet there. If you need to meet in person, we can make that happen too. We will get through this together. Take care and be well. We want to see your creativity continue!
