Exams are around the corner, so don't wait until the night before to study and prepare yourself. On Thursday, November 19, Red Deer College Library will host a free virtual workshop for RDC students that will share tips and strategies to help you prepare for your upcoming exams. This workshop will include a presentation, followed by your choice of a breakout session that will explore specific strategies and tools. Each presentation will be recorded, which means you can watc...h them again at a later date. Breakout sessions include: Test anxiety: Calming the anxiety monster and bringing tranquillity to quizzes, tests and exams. Exam essay questions: Have to answer an essay question on an exam? Learn about mind dumps, the importance of planning, and the most straightforward essay outline ever. Exam vocabulary: Understand different types of exam questions and how to best answer them.
