Zinnias a bees delight and a butterfly Fave. #nationalpollinatorweek

Marigolds are known to attract and feed pollinating insects In fact, they continue to produce blooms full of nectar and pollen all summer into the early fall! These were an easy pick to showcase during National Pollinator Week

Bees love the nectar the Peony produces. They bloom late spring, and the flower emit a subtle, sweet fragrance that also attract other pollinators. The beautiful thing about a peony is they also are able to perform self-pollination By adding these to your garden you’re helping our local bees thrive. This week we will showcase some other plants in our greenhouse that you can add to your garden so you can join in on participating in National Pollinator Week

There is something about the fragrance of lilacs that just takes us back to our childhood summers. Lilacs are spring bloomers and when they do bloom they are breath taking, a fan fav! We are always cutting off our blooms and bringing them in the home for that pop of fresh spring feels. After the blooms have had their time to shine, the plant is left with a beautiful green foliage to enjoy all summer. They make a great hedge once you prune and shape. We have many of the newest varieties and the old fashion common lilac.

Fresh Healthy ANNUALS Mid June - it can be challenging to find fresh healthy Annuals, as the spring planting season leaves shelves picked over. So we are excited to share that our 2nd round of fresh locally grown Annuals have been making an appearance in our retail greenhouses. . We have been blown away by your support and are so thankful that our family owned business has been able to serve you and all your planting needs during this pandemic. We will continue to care, water and move fresh plants from the back greenhouses to our retail space till they find a new home in your gardens We look forward to seeing familiar and new faces as we head into the summer planting season!

We hand plant each vegetable ourself with 4 generations of knowledge, tips and tricks to growing we are always proud of how fresh and strong our veggies grow. It’s Grow time. Pop by grab a few tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, cucumbers and/or onions before they go!
