I am grateful to be able to have a business with autistic children and adults find their full potential especially during these #COVID19 when quality supports are really needed! They are amazing people and I continue to learn so much about myself as I go forward in this line of work and able to help them on a deeper level inside and out #lifequalitysupports #discoverabilityindisability #learning #perspective #autismjourney #autismsuccess

Happy World Kindness Day! During these uncertain times more than ever we need to use our voice for kindness, our ears for compassion, our hands for charity, our minds for truth and our hearts to spread love! We have the ability to choose what we say and how we act to people!... Kindness is choosing Love over hate, Light over darkness and Compassion over judgement. Spread Love not Hate! Love you all

History happened a couple days ago when Chris Nikic became the first person with Down syndrome to complete an IRONMAN race. With the help of his team, including his amazing coach, Dan Grieb, Chris shows the world what is possible for those with differing abilities; for those who have hopes and goals. Barriers broken, dreams achieved. Congrats , Chris! #downsyndrome #abilities #inclusion #strengths #ironmantri #lifequalitysupports #hope

MENTAL HEALTH People with mental health problems say that the social stigma attached to mental ill health and the discrimination they experience can make their difficulties worse and make it harder to recover. 1 in 4 of us are likely to experience mental health problems each year. This means that even more of us are likely to know and care about someone currently experiencing mental health problems.... The most common mental health problems are depression, anxiety, and stress. Depression affects around 1 in 5 people and anxiety around 1 in 10. Most people who experience mental health problems recover fully, or are able to live with and manage them, especially if they get help early on. But even though so many people are affected, there is a strong social stigma attached to mental ill health, and people with mental health problems can experience discrimination in all aspects of their lives. If you know someone who has trouble with their mental health, assure them that they are not alone. Make sure to educate others who may be ignorant or make comments in passing.
