Experiencing cold and flu like symptoms and think you may have COVID? Stay calm, get screened, and follow this helpful guide for managing symptoms. Testing has gradually been expanding, and with increased capacity Manitoba is now ready to test anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19. Let's be careful everyone! Self Monitoring is recommended if you are having flu like symptoms. Drink plenty of water, wash your hands often. If you have traveled outside of Canada within the last 14 days and developed flu like symptoms after arriving in Canada, Self-isolation is a MUST. To determine if testing for COVID-19 should be considered, call Health Links at (204) 788-8200 or toll free 1-888-315-9257, they will be able to let you know what to do next. Walk-in Clinics or Family Doctor will not be able to do the test for you. Please call Health Links, they are the HUB and will have more information to help you out.
