Mothers & daughters; Sisters; Aunts & Nieces;friends from training that married brothers; etc. Let’s have some fun with this. RGNH Nurses Alumni Weekend September 18th & 19th, 2020 CANCELLED It is with a sad heart that we have to announce that we will be cancelling our Alumni event this year. With the current situation and uncertainty surrounding the Coronoa Virus (Covid 19) outbreak and policies and regulations surrounding social gatherings, we met the other day to discuss our plan. After a lengthy discussion, we have decided that the most sensible thing to do for this year's alumni weekend is to... cancel it. Too many unknowns .... will larger group gatherings even be allowed by then? ... is it prudent with the demographic and age of our members to risk travel and a large group gathering? We think that most of our members will be thinking the same thing and even relieved to not have to make a decision whether to attend or not. We are encouraging those special classes this year to keep your plans alive and plan to gather & celebrate your 50+1, 55+1, 60+1, 65+1; & 70+1 next year along with the special classes scheduled to celebrate their special years in 2021 .... It could prove to be double the party! Hopefully the world will be healthier then and it will be even more of a reason to celebrate together!! The Atlas Hotel (New name for the Travelodge) will continue to be our venue and it is already booked for 2021. We would suggest that everyone reach out this year to your classmates to visit with a letter, an email, phone call or video chat (many of you may have gotten pretty good at that technology in these quarantine times). Have a ZOOM Wine and Cheese or Coffee meeting with a number of classmates. No time like the present to reminisce with old friends about the good old or even good new days (why wait for a reunion??) If anyone needs a phone number, email or mailing address of a classmate, just email or phone me and I would be happy to give you the most current information I have on file. I had a question from someone the other day. Does anyone remember where the Capes were ordered from?
