#CovidUpdate - As the December holidays approach, B.C. health officials say they're watching the data on COVID-19's spread to determine how celebrations might look this year. But Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said no one should expect to spend the holidays in the typical way. That means office parties and big family gatherings are out of the question. It has been six months since Shannon Brown-John (RI) started with Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia as their new Deputy Administrator within the Land Owner Transparency Registry Services. Previously, Shannon had worked with BC Assessment for six years as an Appraiser on the Industrial team. "My new role encompasses a lot of exciting facets that come with the passing of new legislation - my day to day is different every d...ay. On any given day I may be working with our team to translate the legislation into policy and procedures, aid in our communications and marketing plan, give webinars and presentations to various groups and stakeholders, as well as work with the IT development team who is building the registry" she said. Meet REIBC RI, Chad Kelbough Chad started his career in real estate as a commercial real estate wealth manager for a REIT company for close to four years. He then decided he wanted to expand his knowledge into property management and for one year was a site manager, supervising fifteen staff and overseeing four residential apartment buildings in the downtown core of Victoria. He then decided to get into real estate appraisal in 2015 and was a major industry property apprais...er for one year with BC Assessment and then transferred on to the residential team as a residential appraiser. Chad is currently working for BC Assessment as a residential appraiser and his areas of responsibility include Central Saanich, East Saanich, and the Highlands. Chad is completing statistical analysis and market analysis in determining values of various property types.
