While the condo market is most vulnerable to the COVID-19 headwinds, there’s no telling if a nosedive will occur. The truth is, depending on where you look in the country, the condo market may be facing challenges, but it is mainly the big-city condo segment that is hurting the most. https://blog.remax.ca/are-condos-a-good-investment/
Nearly a year into this pandemic, sales activity and prices have been soaring. Hamilton is one of the many red-hot markets in Canada to witness an incredible surge during the coronavirus pandemic. SEPTEMBER 2020 MARKET REPORT Improving economic conditions and extremely low borrowing costs sustained record-level sales in September in many regions across #Ontario, as we continued to account for the substantial amount of pent-up demand that resulted from the spring downturn. Further improvements in the economy, including job growth, would support strong home sales moving forward. However, it will be important to monitor the trajectory of COVID-19 cases, the related gov...ernment policy response, and the impact on jobs and consumer confidence.
